Private-Pay Service rates:
Individual - 50 minutes (virtual): $200
Couples - 50 minutes (virtual): $225
Individual - 80 minutes (virtual): $320
Couples - 80 minutes (virtual): $360
Upcoming “Mothering in Bloom: A Reflective Floral Circle for Mothers” Flower Arranging Workshop: $55 per person
Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted forms of payment include credit card, debit card, and HSA/FSA cards, when applicable.
Insurance & Superbills
Laya Women’s Therapy is currently in-network with Aetna. If you’re interested in using your insurance benefits, please reach out to confirm whether we accept your specific plan.
For any out-of-network clients, I can provide a superbill after our session that you may submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan.
Because coverage varies, I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly and asking the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible? If so, how much has been met?
What percentage of the session fee may be reimbursed after my deductible is met?
Is there a limit on the number of sessions covered?
Do I need prior authorization?
How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?
A superbill does not guarantee reimbursement, but it can give your insurance the information they need to process an out-of-network claim.
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or self-pay have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before beginning services and upon request. Self-pay includes clients who have insurance but choose not to use it for services. CMS states that providers must give uninsured or self-pay clients notice of their right to receive a Good Faith Estimate.
Cancellations
Your appointment time is reserved for you. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged the full session fee. If my schedule allows, I’m happy to offer a same-week reschedule option. If we are able to meet within the same calendar week, the full session fee for the missed appointment can be used. This option is based on availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may interfere with continuity of care and may lead to a discussion about whether ongoing therapy is clinically appropriate at this time.
