Rates & Payment
Laya Women’s Therapy is a private-pay practice and is considered an out-of-network provider.
Service rates:
50 minutes (virtual or in-person): $200
80 minutes (virtual or in-person): $320
50 min. session (home-visit*): $380
80 min. session (home-visit*): $500
Upcoming Support Circles: 6-week series (each session is 60 min.): $300
Upcoming “Mothering in Bloom: A Reflective Floral Circle for Mothers”: Floral Workshop: $100 per person
(*Home visits are available within a limited South Bay service area. Additional locations may be considered by request and may include a travel fee.)
Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted forms of payment include credit card, debit card, and HSA/FSA cards, when applicable.
Insurance & Superbills
Laya Women’s Therapy does not bill insurance directly. Upon request, we can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Reimbursement depends on your individual insurance plan, and payment is not guaranteed. Clients are encouraged to contact their insurance provider directly to better understand their out-of-network mental health benefits.
Helpful questions to ask your insurance provider include:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible? If so, how much has been met?
What percentage of the session fee may be reimbursed after my deductible is met?
Is there a limit on the number of sessions covered?
Do I need prior authorization?
How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or self-pay have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before beginning services and upon request. Self-pay includes clients who have insurance but choose not to use it for services. CMS states that providers must give uninsured or self-pay clients notice of their right to receive a Good Faith Estimate.
Cancellations
Your appointment time is reserved for you. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged the full session fee, except in cases of emergency or circumstances outside of your control.
